AUTOMOTIVE INTERNET TRAINING

MEA now offers technical auto training over the internet. This is in addition to our normal night time class calender.

How this will work in is that you will LISTEN to the class on your COMPUTER SPEAKERS OR you can

CALL IN and listen over your TELEPHONE, CELLPHONE or SPEAKERPHONE. You will SEE the

class on your COMPUTER from home or work. These classes will be 30-60 minutes in length. Some courses will air

at Lunchtime (from Noon to 12:30), some are in the Morning from 8:00-8:30 AM

and the other courses will air in the evening 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM, or 8:00 - 9:00 PM.

The class will be live, and you will be able to type in questions during the presentation.

This is our first step to automotive internet training, support it and it will grow!

BMW faults are causing some grief. The reason being is that codes retrieved may be displayed in hexadecimal format. When you go looking for the flow charts, to match the HEX codes, their nowhere to be found. This webinar will show how to how get past this obstacle. We are going to feature the Launch scanner for this webinar. This is the beginning, in a series of the Launch scanner training.

In continuation of our Body Electrical Series, we are brining you headlamp and turn signal diagnosis. As you well know, body electrical systems on today’s vehicles are module controlled. This webinar will provide with proper testing of the FCM, LCM, TIPM and all circuits and components that are controlled by these modules.

Ford climate control has had it's share of problems. One of the main problems is the lack of Heat. Covered will be accessing codes from the system, testing the blend door actuator and determining if it's blend actuator problem or a broken blend door.

Highlights include: Proper Timing Belt Replacement procedures including Multi Cam engines with Belt and or Chains, understanding the difference between interference and free wheeling engines, the importance of proper service intervals, Do we or DON'T we need the OE tools to perform Timing Belt R&R procedures.

Internet CLASS 5 P1457 Honda EVAP System Diagnosis!

"EVENING WEBINAR" Thursday February 2nd, 2012 from 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM

This is the most common EVAP code on Honda and Acura vehicles. Honda breaks there systems into multiple pieces, will look at the different sections of this system and how each section operates. We will cover testing of each section and what the PCM monitors. We will also cover the purge solenoid, the vent solenoid, and the by-pass solenoid and how to test each one.
