Course Descriptions are listed Below:
Toyota Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Testing WITHOUT a factory Scan Tool
This course cover's Toyota's version of the Air Fuel Sensor which will keep you on the cutting edge of Toyota's computer control systems. Since 1999 Toyota have had Air Fuel Ratio Sensors, and since 2003 ALL Toyota are equipped with Air Fuel Ratio Sensors. Testing these sensors are much different than a conventional 02 sensors and this webinar will show you how to test them quickly and accurately WITHOUT a factory scan tool.
OTC & Snap-On Scanner Ford Mode 6 Misfire
Finding a misfire on a Ford can be a tough task. Often there is no code to identify the misfire, even though you can feel the engine missing. There are also no "misfire counters" that you can watch on your most popular scanners. This course will show you how to use "mode 6" in your scan tool to easily find the misfiring cylinder. If you are not using Mode 6 on Fords to find a misfire, you are working too hard!. Find out how to do this with both an OTC Genysis, Pegasis Scanner (or MAC Mentor, Matco Determinator) and Snap On Scanner (or Verus, Modis, or Solus) in this effective webinar.
Chrysler CCD Diagnosis
This class is designed to help the technician attack a no communication problem with THE MOST POPULAR Chrysler Data Line Circuit in your shop today the Chrysler CCD bus network. By learning and understanding how onboard computers are tied together, we can quickly diagnose. 1996-2006 CHRYSLER CCD Networks in minutes! This class will cover the 2-minute MEA diagnostic test, which will put you quickly on the right path to diagnosing these systems.
Nissan Fly By Wire and Throttle Relearn
Most newer Nissan vehicles are coming equipped with electronic throttle assemblies. This class will cover operation, and testing of the complete Electronic Throttle Control System. We will cover ETC, APP, TPS, P0507 and relearn procedures. We will cover the dangers of " Cleaning the throttle body".
GM 6.6 Duramax Diesel Injector Failure Diagnosis
One of the most common failures for driveability problems on these engines, are the high voltage injectors. The most common complaint is the vehicle runs with a mis-fire. Unlike gas engine applications, most of the time there are known codes on Diesels to help you ID what cylinder is the problem. Properly diagnosing the problems associated with injector failures can be made easier by attending this MEA webinar. 1st and 2nd generation types will be covered. 92 volt and 48 volt description and operation. How to interpret balancing rates with your scanner to come up with a quick diagnosis. .Bi-directional output control for power balance testing will also be included.
P0171 & P0174 Diagnosis in 10 MINUTES OR LESS!! All Ford Cars and Trucks
These 2 OBDII codes are the most common failures in the state lanes. This 30 minute webinar is designed to show you how to diagnosis these codes on a FORD product in 10 minutes or less. While everyone has most likely fixed these codes before, this course is designed to keep the diagnosis from being the "the last Windstar I had was......"
Mercedes AIR Systems P0410 Code Diagnosis
In this class we will be covering The Secondary Air System used in Mercedes vehicles from 1996 to today. We will cover electric air pumps, clutch controlled air pumps, and superchargers used as the secondary air pump on Kompressor vehicles. Covered will be operation and testing of air pumps, switchover valves, relays, and combination valves. Testing of all components and flow testing will be included.
5.9 Dodge Cummins Low Pressure Fuel Systems
Cummins transfer pump failures are extremely common on 5.9 Diesel Engines. When this pump fails they can cause damage to other components. Find out how to quickly and accurately troubleshoot these common Dodge Diesels. Highlights include: Proper fuel system bleeding procedures, short cuts to R & R transfer pumps. and operation and testing of these somewhat unique PCM control circuits will be covered completely.
TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
Data gathered in this class is derived from Hotline Calls from techs with TPMS problems. This class will cover Tips and Tricks of Direct TPM Systems, including how they work and the different problems associated with them. From accelerometers, to Pulse Modulated RF testing, this class will cover the keys to fixing and relearning these systems in a simple practical way, including the "tire pressure hokey pokey" technique.
Reading Wiring Diagrams including DIN Diagrams
European car wiring diagrams can be difficult to interpret due to the use of DIN style wiring diagrams.
DIN diagrams used by European manufacturers are represented in a “Track” style format using a logical
sequence of track numbers and letters. This course will provide the foundation needed to interpret DIN
Track Diagrams by providing step by step diagram analysis.
Honda AND Acura VTEC Diagnosis: Variable Valve Timing with Electronic Lift Controls
This system has many common problems including lack of power with no codes complaints to turning on the Check Engine light and setting VTEC codes. Because this is a variable valve timing system, separating electrical from mechanical valve timing problems can be difficult. This course will cover all of the VTEC components, including VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch, and rocker are mechanisms. These components will be covered in detail including, operation, testing and diagnosis. If you work on Honda and Acura cars and trucks, this is an Internet course that you cannot miss.
GM Passkey II Anti Theft Systems
This MEA Webinar will look at the most common failures of the GM Passkey II system. Learn how high failure GM theft system works and how to diagnosis it. Also the procedures to Re-Learn the system after repairs or when keys are lost. Pass key I and Pass Key III will also be highlighted as well as the evolution of GM anti-theft. Don't miss it!!
Sprinter Diesel Engine Management
Sprinters have become one of the most popular vehicles for Fleets, Work Trucks and RVs. There are only a few dealers that sell them and less that service them, which makes for a great opportunity. Compared to a 6.0 Powerstroke in an Ford Van, these engines are EASY to work on, and they break often. Find out how easy these systems can be to repair, and grab the MEA specs and testing you cannot find in any book. The 5 Most Common Problems and Their Fixes of the Bosch Common Rail Diesel fuel systems will be covered! Don't miss it!!
